Women in Logistics (WIL) continues to build momentum and has selected and assigned Ceylan Ünsal as new WIL managing director. Ceylan brings > 20 years of experience in the chemical industry and has a supply chain HR background with a passion for people diversity and inclusion. The WIL association is expanding its community and welcoming new members who want to help strengthen the gender balance in the chemical logistics sector.
Last week and together with EPCA, WIL organized a webinar where the WIL metrics baseline and survey results got explained followed by a very insightful panel discussion organized by the leadership pillar and focused to foster new female talents and strengthen your talent pipeline through sponsorship and mentoring across WIL member companies.
Looking ahead, WIL together with Bertschi is holding an WIL event on November 4, 2026 at the premises of the Port Of Antwerp Bruges . The event is reserved for WIL members whereby also speakers from the European Commission are invited.
