SQAS 2025 Questionnaires
The new versions of the SQAS questionnaires for the Core module, Transport Services, Tank Cleaning, Container Depots and Warehousing are now available on the SQAS website. They will be officially launched on Monday 15th September 2025.
Much work has been done by the SQAS T&A Committee over the last twelve months to review all of the existing questions and, wherever possible, to merge or delete them in order to prevent the questionnaires from being unmanageable.
There are new questions around digitalisation and cyber security but the most significant change, especially in the Transport Services module is the revision of the section on greenhouse gas emission reporting in order to bring it in line with the ISO14083 standard and the GLEC framework. The requirements may be challenging to meet in the short term but there will be an ECTA/Cefic best practice guidance document on this subject due to be published before September.
Questions for Container depots and Transfer Terminals have been moved out of the existing modules to create a new, stand alone module.
It is also good to see that all of the modules are now in Excel format which, based on feedback from users, will make them easier to use.
